Kevin Turpin, president at the National Journal, details his vision for the company with a focus on innovation and creativity. In this interview, Kevin discusses his career with National Journal. National Journal was the perfect fit for that criteria. So how do you ensure that you stand out?
My coauthor, Amy Barnes, and I conducted 58 in-depth interviews with senior executives who are members of the PRSA College of Fellows and Arthur W. She has published research in the following journals: Journal of Mass Media Ethics, Public Relations Review, Journal of Communication Management and Journal of Advertising Education.
She served as a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma, Louisiana State University and Syracuse University before becoming the director of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Kent State University. When she retired from teaching in 2013, Turk was named a VCU professor emerita.
When I came home in 2013, I did not have a business model or consultancy practice. Over time, I ended up being quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, and have been on CNBC as a subject matter expert, among other media engagements.
