Great point about personal branding. I think blogs and podcasts also help with personal branding and getting your thoughts out there, but the great thing about vlogging is that it provides a space for those who are stronger in visual+auditory-learning and thinking. I personally think vlogging is really great for personal branding.

Here are my thoughts: 1) Ideally, brands/agencies would never pay bloggers and never even give them product or pay for trips, lunches etc. And eMarketer recently highlighted a study that said about 75% of the bloggers/tweeters they interviewed were looking to monetize their blogs/tweets. Thanks for bringing it to the table.
