Welcome back to another edition of our Reddit rankings for July 2022, where once again we looked back at the top communities, posts, and link posts of the month. . The top communities in July 2022. As has become tradition, r/memes was the top community, though it was closer this month than it has been in previous months. .
Reddit is different. Unlike other platforms where bots, trolls and fake accounts have the same ability to drive traffic as those who have something genuine to say on a topic, Reddit has a layered approach for the problem. The members within those communities are also highly engaged. The power of those quotes can’t be overstated.

Anyone who has ventured onto Reddit, whether casually browsing or diving deep into popular subreddits like r/science (33M members) or r/AskReddit (48M members), knows it can be a source of endless possibilities. On Reddit, users can choose to share as much or as little information about themselves as they like.
In our latest edition of the monthly Reddit rankings, r/memes returned to the top, displacing the seasonal r/place that had held the number one spot in April.
